Commercial electrical work

Shop and café fit‑outs in Dunedin.

We plan lighting and power around the way your premises will run. We work with your builder and joiner, supply the fittings and wire everything from display cabinets to commercial kitchen equipment.

Before the joinery goes in.

A floor plan is enough to start a conversation. If you’re taking over an existing tenancy, we can walk through it with you and check which parts of the installation you can keep.

Retail displays and counters

Show us where the shelves, till and displays will sit. We’ll work out where the light needs to fall, where staff need power and how to keep plugs and cables out of sight.

Kitchen equipment

If you have an equipment list, send it with the plan. We’ll check what the ovens, refrigeration and extraction need so you know whether the existing supply can carry the load.

Cabinet lighting and fittings

We mark up cable entries and driver access with the joiner before the cabinets are made. We can supply and install the fittings, or price from the landlord’s lighting schedule.

Keeping the doors open

If the shop needs to keep trading, show us which counters and equipment must stay live. We’ll agree with you and the builder when each area can be worked on and when the power can go off.
