Here’s what happens when you send us a bill or a set of plans, and what stays in your browser when you’re just looking around.
Bills, plans and tenders
When you choose a document, it stays in your browser until you press Send to Leading. Then our Google Workspace service emails your documents or shared link, contact details and job notes to info@leading.nz. We use them to review the work, prepare pricing and get back to you. Files sent this way aren’t published on the website.
For a power bill, keep the dates, usage and tariffs visible. You can cover your account number, bank details and anything unrelated. Leading uses ChatGPT to prepare an internal summary of bill details for our team. A person checks that summary against the bill before giving advice. For plans, send only the current drawings you have permission to share. If you use a shared folder, give access to info@leading.nz and share only the files for this enquiry.
You can start without sending documents. Call 027 550 5022, or use the contact page to prepare a message in your own email app. We may need more information before we can price the job.
Cookies and browsing
Leading hasn’t added advertising pixels or optional analytics to this version of the website. The hosting provider may use cookies for security and sign-in. The site remembers your privacy choice for this tab. If you allow slideshow preferences, it also remembers whether you pause the homepage photos. You can change your choice using Cookie preferences in the footer.
Calculators and finance
Leading’s quick running-cost and battery comparisons calculate in your browser. Loading the optional Rewiring Aotearoa calculator connects you to Rewiring’s service. Its privacy policy applies to what you enter there. Leading doesn’t receive those entries or results. A finance application also goes directly to the lender. Send identity documents and bank statements through the lender’s own application.
Questions about your information
To ask what personal information Leading holds about you, request a correction or ask about deletion, email info@leading.nz. Include your enquiry reference if you have one. You can ask without sending the document again.
