Electrical work for renovations.

Moving the kitchen, replacing a bathroom or doing up the house room by room? We’ll look at the existing wiring and work out with you and your builder what needs doing while the walls are open.

Send renovation plans or photos
A concealed light picks out the tilework inside a shower niche.
In a tiled shower, the position of a recessed light needs settling before the tiler starts.

Before the walls close.

Kitchens and joinery

Bring the kitchen layout and appliance list. We’ll check where the power and switching need to go, and where light will fall on the bench when you’re standing at it.

Bathrooms and laundries

A mirror, a heated towel rail and an extractor each need a place on the plan. We’ll discuss the switching, duct route and lighting with the builder before lining and tiling.

Renovating in stages

Tell us which rooms you’ll keep using. We can plan access, power interruptions and return visits around the build, and check whether the existing switchboard has room for new circuits.

From our work in St Clair

In this kitchen, downlights light the work surface. A separate strip tucked into the ceiling cove picks out the original plaster detail.

Which rooms are changing?

Tell us the suburb, what’s coming out and when the builder starts. A sketch or a few photos are enough for a first conversation.
