One room, a tenancy or a whole building.

From our work: replacement lighting across a suspended grid ceiling.

Start with what you have

A clear scope.
A planned changeover.

The right replacement needs to suit the room and the people using it. We consider light distribution, glare, existing wiring, ceiling access and how you want the lights controlled.

01

Office & grid-ceiling lighting

LED troffers and panels for suspended ceilings. We check the existing fitting sizes and layout, then discuss suitable replacements for the workspace.

02

Shops & commercial spaces

General lighting, task areas and tired fittings. Agree the priorities, the areas that must stay open and an installation window that works around trading.

04

Switching & controls

Look at which lights need to operate together, and whether timers, sensors or separate zones make sense for the way your site is used.

Working around your workplace

Know what’s included before work starts.

We agree the replacement fittings, installation scope, access and any required shutdowns. If you need the work staged, tell us which areas must keep operating.

We’ll also discuss removal of the old fittings, testing and handover, so the quote covers the job from start to finish.

Making the decision

Start with a count,
a photo and your hours.

A few details help us organise the next step. You don’t need a complete lighting plan to get in touch.

  1. 01 / Look at the existing setup

    What needs changing?

Send the site location, a rough fitting count and photos taken safely from floor level. Tell us about dim areas, failed fittings or glare.

  2. 02 / Compare suitable options

    Check the whole job.

We review the fittings and installation requirements. If energy savings are part of your decision, we can discuss a comparison using the existing and proposed wattages and your operating hours.

  3. 03 / Agree the installation

    Plan access and staging.

Confirm working hours, access equipment, shutdowns and who will coordinate the site. Any estimated savings depend on the selected fittings and actual use.

Questions, answered

Replacing commercial lights

Can you replace lights in an existing grid ceiling?

Yes. We check the grid dimensions, fittings, wiring and access before recommending replacements. A photo and rough fitting count are useful starting points.

Can the business stay open?

Tell us which areas need to keep operating. We’ll discuss staging and access, and agree any shutdowns before the work begins.

How much power will an upgrade save?

That depends on the existing fittings, the replacements and how long they run. A useful estimate needs verified wattages and operating hours; running-cost estimates also need your electricity rate. We don’t publish a blanket saving for every site.

Can you look after the lighting afterwards?

We can discuss ongoing repairs and a planned maintenance scope for your site. Explore maintenance agreements.

Let’s get it scoped

Which lights need replacing?

Start with your site, the type of lighting and a rough number of fittings. We’ll take it from there.
